# The OPTIC System

> The OPTIC System is a feature-rich, cloud-based Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management platform operated by Friendly Eagle Software Inc. (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) under an exclusive license agreement with Forge Dynamics Inc. All data is hosted on Canadian cloud servers with rigorous privacy controls; each customer operates in a fully isolated database and file storage environment. The platform serves construction, trade, manufacturing, utilities, and municipal sectors, with customers managing from 1 to 15,000+ employee records.

The platform is organized around four core pillars: Qualified People (employee and contractor management, training, meetings, awards), Hazard Identification and Control (inspections, job hazard assessments, SDS tracking, tools and equipment), Incident Management (reporting, investigation, wellness), and Helpful Resources (forms, documents, safety manuals, smart notifications via a configurable business rules engine). Every module supports unlimited customization through configurable electronic forms. The OPTIC Mobile companion app (iOS and Android) is included at no extra cost, works offline, and supports the same custom forms as the web application. Optional add-ons include Online Training (OPTIC LMS), LMS/training bridges, a JSON API, and integration with EAGLE GPS for real-time tracking of employees, equipment, and vehicles.
